The Air

The Air
by Mark Kaven Lazaro

The air blows softly
Then sometimes strong
Waves your hair gently
Tell me if I'm wrong

We believe in air
Even we don't see
It exists since ere
Do I lie to thee?

If thou believe not
There's no GOD exists
Hope that thou breathe not
The death can't resist

"I Still Love You My Son"

"I Still Love You My Son"
by Mark Kaven Lazaro

He held my life for a long time
He gave all the best things for me
He showed the love, the life sublime
He cared for me and always be

I ran  away from my Father
I let my feet brought me so far
I had chosen the world rather
I spent my days, 'till I've felt jar

From the dusty road I'd walked
The power and wealth are now gone
With the swine I friendly talked
I thought all the things which undone

I suffered from my wickedness
I was half dead man walking back
That's what I got with selfishness
That brought myself badly out hack

Now I am turning back again
So ashamed for what I have done
For I've lost it all and got vain
Now all things are wasted and gone

But there I saw a man standing
Gladly shouting "My son!" "My son!"
My teardrops fell from astounding
Then he said "I still love you son"

When I heard this song "When God Ran" by Philip, Craig and Dean..I felt so  secure by our Almighty Father.
This is the reason why I wrote this poem "I Still Love You Son".
Please read the poem and listen to the tremendous powerful message of the song.
GOD BLESS US ALL BRETHREN
Keep Holding unto HIM

“Buhay at Kabutihan”

“Buhay at Kabutihan”
Ni Mark Kaven Lazaro

I
Narinig mo na ba ang sabi sabi ng nakararami
Na ang mabait ay maagang nauwi
Doon sa langit kapiling ng ating Dyos
Pa’no ang iba sa kabutiha’y kapos

II
Maraming tao nagsasabi sa atin
At ito ay agad kong nabigyang pansin
Katagang sa aking isipa’y tumimo
Matagal mamatay ang masamang damo

III
Saan ka lulugar sa dilim o liwanag
Tila iba ang kanilang paliwanag
Ito’y nasaad, banal na kasulatan
Buhay’y biyaya sa taong nagtitwala

IV
Marahil hindi lamang nila nalalaman
Buhay man kahulugan ng kabutihan
Gumawa ng mabuti aking kapatid
Ating Dyos laan ay buhay na walang patid

[This is my first Tagalog poem in this blog]
[God bless us all brethren]

“The Man Who Trusts”

“The Man Who Trusts”
By Mark Kaven Lazaro

In our lives sometimes we think life is unfair
We use to ask our God, why these things happen
Then when we feel that these are too much to bear
We forgot him so that we fall to sullen

Are we blaming the God for these misfortunes?
Oh brethren, Oh brethren stand up
Give thanks and keep singing, show that everyone tunes
Behind our anxieties do not give up

We feel strong or weak, just seek Him
We feel so up or so down, just keep holding
We feel glad or sad don’t let our light turn dim
Remember that He blesses man who’s trusting

"Fly Boy"

“Fly Boy”
by Mark Kaven Lazaro

I remember when I was a child
My dad lifts me over his shoulder
While stretching my arms like flying
He holds me tightly saying “fly boy!”

I remember when I was a teen
My dad says he looks good as I am
While I am combing my cool hairdo
He sips his coffee and said “take care”

When I am already twenty one
My dad holding my childhood pictures
While I’m answering my girl’s phone call
He laughed and said “I’ll miss this cool boy”

Now I am standing here to fight
Ready to ride on my own stealth
I remember my dad said “fly boy”
Now I’m flying, I will miss you dad

The war ended up, time to come back
I returned to my home where he was
I got shock when I saw white stone
There his name written so I kneeled down

I cried and said why he didn’t wait
Here am I Dad returned back again
I felt someone whispers saying that
“It is my time, I have to fly boy”

I Am A Citizen of Heaven

by Mark Kaven Lazaro

I don't understand why they are opposing
They are rejecting me like spiting unwanted food
Behind of my intention to save them from dying
Making believe to the one most great God

As I journey in this world I feel stranger
For everything comes against my culture
Behind of how I utter is to save them from danger
Yet they look sharply like a vulture

Then someone told me who's like me
"Brethren this world is not our home"
Now I know why they are use to be
I am a citizen of heaven someday I will come

Give and Thou shalt be Given

Sometimes you feel lucky having great possessions
You feel you will never go needy and poor
Eating in lofty chair, living in palace and mansions
That is your style like the rich man and Lazarus on the floor

Your hands are always close to release
But always open to accept great things
Like the Dead sea that no place for water to ease
Don't wait the time, one day God will cut your wings

The bible says give and thou shall be given
What if the shower should stop and never be back
If you want to stay, be an eagle not raven
Also try to share blessings then everything never be lack
