You Are My Everything

I believe You're the author of my story
Every time You write Its pages
There are Your great plan and will for me
I believe You're the healer of my wandering heart
Every time I've been hurt and broken
There's Your love that cures my heart

You are my God who created my world and myself
My Jesus who saved me
The Lord that I serve
My loving Friend and my King
You are my everything

I believe You're the provider to all my needs
Every time I utter my prayers
Before I ask You knew it indeed
I believe You're my Father that won't let me go
Even I try to escape and follow myself
You're still there, loving me yes You do

Great Are You that Saved My Life

by Mark Kaven Lazaro

I was alone in the dark
Where it's like God did not created light
Walking in endless shadow
Oh no I can't find the way out

I was walking in the quicksand
While I'm going, I'm sinking
My feet didn't move to escape
Shouting  for help but there's nothing

I was in the wild river
Going where it goes I couldn't resist
Pushing me 'till I drown and die
No rocks, no boat to ask for rescue

Almost dead when I heard You
Saw you, and giving your hands
You saved me from death
Just like the hero and the heroine

Full of danger is this world we stand on

My voice to sing all praises is not enough
To thank you requires my whole life
Great is You that saved my life

Why Is It So Hard to Follow

Why is it so hard to follow
Even all He wants is the best
And greatest love he wants to show
Just obey and He will do the rest

Why is it so hard to thank
When our lives are ruined and miserable
We are like a money-less bank
We seem to destroy, we're close to crumble

Try to look what the LORD commanded
In the book of Matthew chapter six you find
Those promises has power for you to be persuaded
Trust and obey to set free from being blind

Your Love

Everyday of living having you is a blessing
Like a great treasure that I possess
Loving me is the reason why I  sing
Yet making story or poem for your greatness

You are my shelter Oh LORD
the strong rock which I tightly hold
You are my potter Oh LORD
I let your hands work in me to mold

I know that I am safe in your side
The dangers and harms of this life couldn't reach me
For you always keep me abide
To change is the thing you'll never be

I love the way you love
Using my voice all my life is not enough
To thank for setting me like dove
You are always before me, in good even rough

Never Alone

From the start you showed me the love
You gave me life and chance to live in this world
I was molded like clay and free like dove
I'm glad you are there with your goodness untold

In times of happiness You are there
A hidden friend that wants the best
In times of trouble You are there
Like the a bird that fight for eggs from nest

You lift me up when I'm down
You make me whole when I'm broken
You give me strength and joy when I'm frown
You touch my heart when I'm sullen

I'd walked away from You
I'd journeyed but felt alone
I'd thought you're not there
But I was amazed you lead me home

Never alone, never alone
I'll won't run from you again
You always by my side, always sojourn
You work in my life yet not in vain

From the East and West
North and South you are in everywhere
Now my life has been blessed
I'll never be alone, because You are there

For Our Beloved Fathers

Blessed is you that have someone to call father
From the infancy, until what you are he guides
Through the years he's there and you laugh together
Just like what you remember is him holding you riding rides

A child lifted on shoulders makes the idea
Painfully that father won't see us down
Taking the risks and sufferings to see you with diploma
How great love for us our father have shown

His strength is not being physically strong
But mighty enough to face family trials
His strength is not having many woman for his surname prolong
But keeping what is for his and loving without denials

As the time passes by when their eyes have started by white covered
Their knee bone become brittle and weak
The hair turning to gray but sometimes die colored
Becoming Alzheimer and spent times in bed because of sick

We must be thankful having them
For the Almighty has fated fathers to carry family
Let their love be back, don;t be sharp but make hem
Never put walls but bridges to rich them when they are needy

The head of the family is important
Be proud son and daughters
Let wives recognize that they are pleasant
Respectfully, this poem is for our beloved fathers

Tonight I Write the Saddest Song

Tonight I Write the Saddest Song

Tonight I write the saddest song
Looking through my window, starring at the sky
The wind blows within the  hours so long
While the heavens burst its shout of cry

Making the lyrics of my feelings
Pushes me to do by the heavy rain outside
My heart aches is the composition tidings
My mind keep on telling do not, but hard to abide

From my room door there is the rope hanging
For I want to finish the sufferings and my laments
The chorus is perfectly done now I'm waiting
Because the bridge of song reminds our moments

Now the time has come my hands are cold
Stepping on my chair to reach the end
I shoved the book fell on the floor and I saw letter that bold
My tears fell so quick, my knees started to bend

"I will never leave you nor forsake you"
As the thunder lightened  my chamber
I crawled to get the book I've read it continue
This is my bible, thank GOD he saved me from danger

Trust Him

Many politicians use to give their oath
Multitude raise their names yet they shout
Even power and respect now possibly be bought
To sit on lofty throne, just to feed his unstoppable mouth

When the chosen owns his authority
And dwell in the house of his highness
The promises seem to come short to its reality
The greed vanquished the faithfulness

We seek for the one we give our full trust
But failure is use to be the end of  the test
It's hard to choose out of the dust
For the one who will do his full best

Now I will introduce to you a Man
Not related to politics of  rusty government
He loves everyone, the one who never ran
He proves promises that brings to me the amazement

From His book we can find lots of promises
We're just not trusting His ability
We keep on doubting His love and goodness
So we are always failed to meet the prosperity

Let him reign in our lives
If everyone carry their hearts with Him
The nation will always in good drives
If you believe the LORD, trust Him

From a Tree I Saw a Sparrow

From a tree I saw a sparrow
Feeding its food from guavas that grow
I'd walked and I looked at waters on river flow
For the fishes live in every tomorrow

I've been worried for I have nothing
A life's scenario that caused me to say "loosing"
But I forgot, my pastor told me something
"You have God, why are you worrying?"

For birds feed, how much for the man
He'll give you solutions instead of empty can
The Father is full of mercy, to politicians He's more than
Always there, forever here, unlike friend who ran

Now I remember the use of prayer
Now I recall my pastor's reminder
Don't worry for He is better
In Matthew  seven verse seven, there  His answer

My Friend Jesus

My friend keeps on telling me
Open my eyes for me to see
From the bondage he wants me to be free
And be not captivated by hatred, he let me flee

My friend keeps on watching
For avoiding take vengeance from opposing
He teaches me look straightly and keep serving
for even brother can be aggressive and pushing

Others can let you down so possible
Showing you discouragement is so believable
To stop your aim in front of God to be able
My friend gives me strength, he that so adorable

Others can hurt me like they utter as swords
But my friend comforts me through his words
Others may trip and stop me by their cords
My friend won't let it, He's King of kings but not Lord or lords

In doing my ministry and task
My fellow possible make me ask
My LORD says "don't follow they have mask"
"If you look them, they teach you to bask"

"Be strong and just continue"
My friend telling me to pursue
Enjoying serving him to block the rue
My friend JESUS will greatly bless me in due
